iPhone 5 3D Model Created by Apple Fan
With the commonly used phrase, "imitation is the highest form of flattery," if Apple had a face, it would be fixed in a permanent blush due to its iPhone being mimicked, rendered and illustrated more than any other device on the market.
A fan of the company and Gizmodo reader recently created a brand new 3D white rendering of the next-generation iPhone, and his design seems to be based on the recent rumors of the smartphone having the 4-inch display.
The 3D model features an aluminum back, a new connectivity port, and even has some fake fingerprints on the back in order to create a more realistic look.
The design seems to take a lot from the recently leaked back plates that were confirmed by various manufacturers to be for the next-generation iPhone.
However, Apple has not made any announcements related to the device.
The next-generation, new, or simply iPhone 5, has arguably been the most-discussed device in the world of technology for over a year's time.
Little is known about the device other than the fact that it will probably be compatible with 4G LTE networks. The third-generation iPad's LTE connectivity virtually makes that feature a no-brainer for the upcoming smartphone.
The name for the handset has also been debated by analysts. Apple re-branded its famed tablet by simply called it "the new iPad." The company is expected to follow suit with the handset and call it "the new iPhone." Others expect Apple to call it the iPhone 5, keeping in line with its predecessors.
The iPhone 4 debuted in 2010 with the 4S following in October of last year.
The iPhone 4S added the voice recognition system known as Siri as well as a beefed up processor to the original 4 design.
The next-generation model is expected to be a complete overhaul that includes an increase in size.
