iPhone 5 Release Date: Artists Continue to Develop Concepts for Next iPhone
A number of artists have recently rendered new design concepts for the iPhone 5.
Designer Alexander Black recently released his latest iPhone 5 concept.
He proposed the next iPhone 5 could feature an A8 1.9GHz dual-core processor, 10-megapixel-rear camera and 7-megapixel front camera, a 4.5-inch retina display, touchpad integration, a 2100mAh battery and iOS 5.
These proposed specs would be more impressive than any phone currently on the market, GizmoCrunch, a technology website, suggested
Currently, the fastest processor on the market is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
The iPhone 4S features an 8-megapixel-rear camera that has been marketed as an alternative to an actual camera.
While there are a number of phones that feature 4.5-inch and larger displays, the iPhone screen has only been 3.5-inches thus far.
Graphic Artist Antonio de Rosa has proposed similar specifications, including a larger home button, aluminum unibody, 4.3-inch retina display, and an A6 dual-core processor for his concept of the iPhone 5.
Reports indicate that Apple and Samsung are currently working together to create an A6 quad-core processor.
The iPhone 5 is expected to release as early as mid-2012. The device is said to be the last project headlined by Apple’s late founder and CEO, Steve Jobs.
