iPhone 5 Release Date: Get Your New iPhone Early at Special Apple Store Midnight Sales

In preparation for the huge demand for its upcoming "iPhone 4S" model, Apple is planning midnight releases at its Apple Stores for those who want their smartphones early.

The official street date for the "iPhone 4S" is pegged to be October 14 and several Apple stores will hold overnight launch events for eager customers. Some Apple stores will open at 7 a.m. and stay open till midnight in order to satisfy the demand.

The "iPhone 5" is also expected to be a part of the midnight sales. According to sources from 9to5mac.com, the price of an unlocked 64GB "iPhone 4S" will replace the price of the current 32GB "iPhone 4." The price of the new 32GB "iPhone 4S" will replace the price of the current 16GB iPhone 4. Black and white color schemes will be available for the smartphone.

With these rumors becoming public, price figures have already been figured out. Although no price prediction has been reached for the 64GB "iPhone 4S", the 32GB is set to cost $199 while the 16GB is said to be dropping down to $99 in the United States. The 8GB "iPhone 4" (N90A) is predicted to go for $49, which will replace the current $49 "iPhone 3GS" price point.

AT&T, Sprint and Verizon are the three main cell phone carriers set to carry Apple's new smartphones.

The "iPhone 4S" will include these features: a dual-core A5 processor from the iPad 2, 3.5 inch widescreen retina display, eight megapixel camera, multitasking capabilities, 1GB of RAM, FaceTime video calling, nuance-based speech-to-text dictation, Bluetooth 2.1 and the Assistant feature. The smartphone will run on Android iOS 5 firmware as well.

MacRumors reported that Apple is set to start selling unlocked "iPhone 3GS" to coincide with the release of the "iPhone 4S" and "iPhone 5."

Today's Apple media conference should reveal even more details on these brand new "iPhone" models. The event's slogan is titled "Let's Talk iPhone."
