iPhone 5 Release Date: New Device to Offer 3 Storage Capacities, 8MP Camera
The new iPhone device touted to be unveiled by Apple at the company’s October 4 event will come with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB capacities, it has been reported.
According to 9to5Mac the device which has been revealed in the company’s inventory system under the SKU N94 will be released in three different storage capacities of those values.
With the appearance of the N90A SKU in the company’s inventory, a modified and updated iPhone 4 is likely in Apple’s plans, which most analysts are saying will come with 8GB’s of memory.
All versions of Apple’s latest smartphone will come in both black and white, according to 9to5Mac’s sources.
The Apple event on October 4 is set to take place on the company’s Cupertino, California campus.
However, exactly which version of the iPhone device is to be released has not been reported by Apple so far.
The company is rumored to either be revealing an updated iPhone 4 called the 4S, or a drastically new designed iPhone 5.
This new device has been rumored to come with an 8 megapixel camera capable of shooting video in 1080p HD.
It will also feature Apple’s iOS 5, a new system which includes an “Assistant” app, which is a voice navigation system used for accomplishing tasks such as texting by simply speaking into the phone.
The company’s CEO Tim Cook will finally give the public a first look at what Apple has been developing at next week’s event, and immense pressure will be upon the new CEO in his first significant address since former CEO Steve Jobs’ recent resignation.
