iPhone 5 Rumors: Apple Event to be Held on September 7th

Details of the iPhone 5 among other Apple devices may be announced at a fall event that is rumored to be held by the company on September 7.

Japanese website Kodawarisan released the information for Apple’s Fall event where they will likely reveal new details on the final versions of iCloud and iOs 5, in addition to announcing the next generation iPhone and iPods.

Some Apple insiders have also indicated that there will be an event held in September, which further validates Kodawarisan’s claim.

There have also been rumors about the iPad 3 or iPad HD, floating around according to 9to5 Mac, which also have the possibility of being revealed at the event, but the tech site doesn’t feel it is likely.

Apple is known for holding Fall media events in the first part of September. In 2008 and 2009 they held an event on September 9, and in 2010 on September 1st.

The new iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffle models were introduced at last year’s event.

Tech website MacRumors confirms that Kodawarisan got their information about the event from a credible source and that they’ve been referencing them for over eight years.

AllthingsD tech blog reported that the iPhone 5 will most likely be released in October despite the early rumors of a September drop. According to Apple suppliers the device will begin shipping in September.

This event, whenever it occurs could clear up all the rumors and finally give the true facts over this highly anticipated next generation iPhone.

The device is rumored to have a thinner tapered design along with a larger screen.

These assumptions were largely based on cases that are supposed to be made for the new phone being leaked by Chinese Manufacturers along with a sighting of an Apple employee using a device that matched the cases design.
