iPhone 5 Sprint Release Date: CEO Speaks About Possible Adjustments for Device

The iPhone 5 has been rumored to be coming to Sprint since August and the company’s CEO, Dan Hesse has revealed some information regarding preparation for carrying the device.

“If we get it we may have to adjust our guidance for that,” replied Hesse.

Even though the CEO may be sworn to secrecy by Apple, the iPhone’s creator, Hesse still has to plan ahead.

If Sprint is receiving the iPhone 5, or the iPhone 4, Hesse must inform investors on his plans to acquire additional funds and subscribers that will come with gaining the device and offering it on unlimited data plans.

The CFO of Sprint, Joe Euteneur, made a similar statement last week when he told the media the company was ready to start carrying the iPhone.

By Sprint offering unlimited data plans, it holds a unique position when it comes to selling Apple’s smartphone, since no other carrier gives out that kind of deal.

The iPhone 5 is rumored to be unveiled by Apple’s CEO Tim Cook at a media event on October 4.

Former Vice President Al Gore recently mentioned that Apple would be releasing new iPhones sometime next month.

The iPhone 5 is expected to be carried by all four of America’s major networks; AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.

An executive for T-Mobile stated that the company will not receive the iPhone 5 this year which always leaves the possibility of a T-Mobile iPhone 4 in 2011.

The company could also be waiting to improve its performance to carry a device of the rumored iPhone 5’s caliber.

T-Mobile’s German parent company, Deutsche Mobile, has already begun to take pre-orders for a new device that could possibly be the iPhone 5.

Rumors have also surfaced claiming that Sprint will be the first carrier to release the next generation iPhone.
