iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 Parts Leak: Vibrator and Audio Control Flex Cable Surface

There has been another iPhone 5S parts leak as photos of the vibrator, sim tray and audio control flex cable have surfaced.

The new photos feature a fairly high-resolution and are the best pictures to be released of these components thus far. These same parts have been leaking to repair firms over the past several months. They do not reveal much information about the upcoming device, except for the fact that they feature small changes from the components found on the iPhone 5.

The pictures display the loud-speaker bracket, ear speaker bracket, vibrating motor assembly, Wi-Fi flex cable ribbon and SIM card tray. Both pictures were posted by the tech site BGR earlier this week.

Pictures of parts meant for the iPhone 5S began leaking in the beginning of this year. The most recent parts leak featured an antenna-related add-on piece for the smartphone's logic board.

The iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 are also now rumored to feature a sapphire-covered home button.

This new component will accommodate the fingerprint sensor that is also rumored to be included on the iPhone 5S, according to a report from Cult of Mac.

Apple will do away with the traditional home button in order to bring this new one in. The original button, which is featured on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch has been one of the most unreliable components on iOS devices. The sapphire crystal version is made of the extremely strong material which is only second to diamond in terms of hardness. This will prevent the component from being scratched and ruining the fingerprint sensor.

Cult of Mac retrieved this information from TechNews, a site that is not a regular source for Apple rumors. This report must be taken with a grain of salt considering its origin.
