iPhone 6, Plus Release Date Backorders News: Delivery Times on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint Suffer Due to Massive Demand
People have been given the chance to place their pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but the number of people wanting to reserve their orders have clogged servers of Apple as well as their partner retailers and wireless carriers.
It would seem that getting the iPhone 6 off of retail walk-in stores is the only chance people would be getting their iPhones without having to suffer a long delivery time.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were made available via retailers Sept. 19 Friday but before the opening of stores, retailers were already expecting their in-store stock to quickly run out. Stocks have already been backordered online but retailers will have to wait for up to a month before getting the orders.

Carriers in the U.S. such as Sprint have already called for a backorder as their in-store supplies are severely limited. Other carriers also share the same sentiments about the limited availability of their stocks but they are nevertheless confident that Apple will quickly resupply them, especially with the larger iPhone 6 Plus.
Best Buy on the other hand will have stocks of the iPhone 6 Plus in select stores. The retailer supports all wireless carriers in the United States and has chosen not to take pre-orders, opting instead for the retail walk-in
The iPhone 6 was first unveiled during an Apple press conference Sept. 9 and was revealed to have two size variants, the 4.7-inch variant and the 5.5-inch variant. The bigger variant is known as the iPhone 6 Plus while the smaller one is simply called iPhone 6.
