The iPhone 6 rumors are likely to continue despite the recent unveiling of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
A bigger screen version of Apple's flagship smartphone is still highly anticipated by many of the company's fans. And even though the iPhone 5S packs a new fingerprint sensor, updated camera, and new processor, it still lacks the complete redesign that was expected by some.
Apple was recently caught testing out smartphones with screens as big as 6 inches, according to a recent report in The Wall Street Journal. The publication's sources claimed that these larger iPhones were never supposed to launch this year. They also revealed that a 4.8-inch model is the strongest candidate for the company's next smartphone. There is no information on what part of 2014 Apple plans to launch its next-gen iPhone.

Apple unveiled the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C at its media event yesterday.
The iPhone 5S will come with a new A7 processor and will be the world's first true 64-bit smartphone. Apple stated that it is five times faster than its predecessor the iPhone 5, and will run the newly unveiled Infinity Blade 3 app with virtually no lag.
The iPhone 5C will be available in two memory capacities, 16GB and 32GB. The 16GB model will retail for $99 while the 32GB version will sell for $199.
It comes with a silicon micro fiber lining that is available in various colors such as green, white, blue, red and yellow. Apple will even allow users to mix two colors while customizing their device.
The handset will feature the same A6 processor that is found in the iPhone 5 and will have 3x video zoom for its FaceTime camera.
Customers can begin pre-ordering the new iPhone 5C and 5S starting on Sept. 13.
