iPhone 6C Release Date, Specs Rumors: Will 4-inch device launch in November?

Until now, Apple fans are on the constant watch for updates about the rumored iPhone 6c. According to MNR Daily, Apple has been reportedly working on a mini variant of the iPhone 6. The rumors all point to the iPhone 6c.

Rumors say that the iPhone 6c will be similar to the iPhone 5c which was released in September 2013. Since the release of the next-generation budget phone, it has not been refreshed or given a successor anymore. But that may all be changed now. And because iPhone 6c is the same with the 5c, it may mean that it will also sport a 4-inch screen display and a plastic-backed body.

The rumor somehow coincided with a recent report by China Times which revealed that Apple's contract manufacturer, Foxconn, had collected supplies of 4-inch screens which is said to be use for the iPhone 6c. Well-known serial tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) also posted a tweet reporting that Apple would launch the iPhone 6c alongside 6s and 6s Plus this coming September.

However, according to Know Your Mobile, the rumored smaller version smartphone will be launched at a separate event in November. Reports say that the Apple suppliers are now busy working on the rumored device so that it will be finished and ready for a release in its scheduled date.

Mac Rumors listed some possible features of the iPhone 6c and it includes an A7 processor with M7 motion coprocessor, Touch ID, pill-shaped dual LED flash, two rows of speaker grilles, NFC chip to enable Apple Play, Apple Watch support and a similar design of iPhone 5c.

If the tech giant does decide to push through with a new 4-inch budget phone, there is still no confirmation to what it would be called. But most likely, the company would keep the previous terminology and continue to put the suffix "s" to the device.
