iPhone 6s release date and price: September 9 event to include Apple TV release
Apple has recently sent out invitations to a Sept. 9 event in which the company is expected to unveil its next iPhone, which will reportedly be called the iPhone 6s.
Last week, Apple sent out cryptic invitations to an event to be held on Sept. 9 at 10:00 am Pacific Time at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. People are expecting Apple to finally reveal the iPhone 6s during next week's event, according to the Telegraph.
It is worth noting that the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is a lot bigger than the usual places Apple books for similar events. This has led to speculations that the tech giant considers the upcoming event extra special.

The said invitation bears the sentence, "Hey Siri, give us a hint." Although the statement begs for clues about an unknown event, Apple is already known for holding an event at this time of the year for the unveiling of its newest smartphone, the report explains.
The iPhone 6s is rumored to have the Taptic Engine and Force Touch display, which are already integrated with the latest MacBook and Apple Watch. It will also have a highly improved camera that would be comparable to a DSLR. It could also have a new processor that will be smaller, faster, and less power consuming. A RAM upgrade is also expected from the next-generation iPhone, the report details.
The next-generation iPhone will reportedly cost between $829 and $952, based on the specs and patterns observed in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. Preorders will most likely begin on Sept. 11 and the iPhone 6s will reportedly go on sale on Sept. 18.
There have also been rumors that Apple will be releasing an Apple TV, along with the iPhone 6s. The latest smart television supports Siri and other third-party apps. Apple's last version of its smart TV was released three years ago. The tech giant originally planned to launch the product at WWDC, but Apple decided not to let the Apple TV share the limelight with the release of its new OS and music streaming service, Firstpost reports.
Aside from that, Apple will reportedly announce new iPads on Sept. 9, along with the unveiling of the iPhone 6s. The company is possibly planning to launch a tablet that features a screen bigger than 12 inches.
