iPhone 7 Rumors and News: New Concept Video Suggests Phone's Bezel-Less Design

As fans prepare for the new flagship from Apple, a new concept video was released, purportedly showing what the upcoming iPhone 7 may look like upon its launch next year.

The clip from DeepMind suggests that the iPhone 7 may differ from the previous models as it will allow users to enlarge photos and videos from the edge of the device. This means users do not need to have a bigger phone to create a bigger screen since the glass goes from edge to edge.

While many rumors imply that the upcoming smartphone will surely have a different design from the current model, the concept video adds to the speculation that the new Apple iPhone may not sport bezels.

Apple has been careful to leak out any details about the upcoming device, but rumor has it that the iPhone 7 will sport a much efficient non-metallic casting to provide a waterproof frame for enhanced protection.

PC Advisor notes that in March of this year, a new patent revealed that Apple has been working on various methods to come up with future devices that will provide waterproofing without the need to compromise the design that many users are fond of.

The outlet also says fans and tech networks speculate the end of traditional SIM cards since the iPhone 7 will come with an e-SIM. Some rumors have surfaced earlier stating that aside from Samsung probably in talks for an electronic SIM, Apple has also joined the companies that are opting for a more simple option.

As for the specs, rumors suggest that Apple might either opt for a 5-inch screen size or stick with the usual 4.7-inch size seen in the current models. Also, the usual performance upgrades may still be incorporated with the upcoming device, meaning the iPhone 7 may come with 2 GB of RAM and the Apple A10 processor.

The iPhone 7 and probably iPhone 7 Plus are expected to release sometime in September 2016.
