iPhone 8 Specs, Release Date: Flagship Will Be a No-Show in September 2017

Apple fans might not, for the first time, be treated with a new iPhone this September, which is the usual month the Cupertino giant comes out with its smartphone flagship.

Apple analyst Brian White claims that although the iPhone 8 will be up for preorder during that month, the shipments will be delayed due to the 3D sensing technology feature coming to the 5.8-inch smartphone.

The expert details this potential iPhone 8 postponement in a research note with investment banking firm Drexel Hamilton, a copy of which was acquired by MacRumors.

"Since it is only April, this situation could improve.
