iPod Touch 5th Generation Model Discounted for Cyber Monday 2012
The iPod Touch 5th generation model has been discounted at Best Buy for Cyber Monday 2012.
The retailer is now selling the 32GB model of the new iPod Touch for $284.99. The deal is available on Best Buy's website and saves customers $15.00 on this high-end media device.
The 32GB iPod normally costs $299.99.
Best Buy also slashed the price on the 16GB model by $20.00. That version normally retails for $399.99 and now it is available on the retailer's website for $379.99.
The new iPod Touch comes in 2 different memory capacities, 32GB and 64GB.
The media device features a thinner 6.1mm frame and a 4-inch display, making it the same size as the recently-released iPhone 5. It comes with the A5 chip found in the iPhone 4 and is supposed to be 7 times faster than previous models. Users should be able to play 40 hours of music and 8 hours of video straight on its battery power.
It also features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a strap, making photography more appealing on the device. It can record video in 1080p and FaceTime in 720p. It can also take panoramic photos. The headphone jack has been moved to the bottom left on the new iPod and it comes with the redesigned ear pod headphones Apple debuted at its iPhone 5 event.
The fifth-generation iPod Touch was released earlier this year and comes in multiple colors including silver, black, blue, yellow and red.
Best Buy is also offering Cyber Monday deals on the 4th generation iPod Touch.
The 8GB version, which normally costs $179.99 can be purchased for $169.99 on Best Buy's website.
The 16GB version that normally retails for $199.99 can be bought on the company's site for $189.99.
