IRS Agent Wanted Sex From Ore. Man; Bizarre Lawsuit Filed
An IRS agent allegedly wanted sex from an Oregon man and was willing to go to great lengths to get it from him- she even threatened him with an audit, according to a lawsuit he filed last month. Now the man, Vincent Burroughs, is suing the U.S. government over the incident and seeking restitution.
The IRS agent who wanted a sexual liaison with Burroughs was identified as Dora Abrahamson in the lawsuit. The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court Jan. 25, and alleges that Abramson "intimidated" him into having intercourse with her, and that the "coercive conduct" warranted payment from the U.S. government.
Burroughs claims that the inappropriate conduct began in August of 2011, when she first called him to let him know he would be audited by the Internal Revenue Service. The Cottage Grove agent's advances were hardly subtle, the man said.
"She was sending me texts that she wanted to come out, give me massages because she needed to help me relax," he told KVAL News in a phone interview.
Abrahamson's behavior only escalated from that point. For the next few months, Burroughs says the tax agent continued to text him, moving from written words to "racy photos." She also revealed that she knew intimate details about the man's life.
"She said she knew more than my mother knew about me," the Fall Creek, Ore. resident said in the interview. If he didn't cooperate, she threatened to expose his personal information to the world.
Finally, in September 2011, Abrahamson simply decided to go to Burroughs' home, he claims.
"Next thing I know, she's at my gate, honking … so I opened my gate, she came into my property dressed exactly like [when] she texted me," he explained. Once there, she said that if he didn't engage in intercourse, she would levy a 40 percent penalty on his income.
"If he would give her what she wanted, she would give him what she needed," the lawsuit read. Burroughs complied.
Now the man is suing for the failure of the government to protect his privacy and other damages.
