Justin Bieber wants to prevent other women from accusing him of fathering their children. The 17-year-old is reported to have taken a DNA test to disprove the claims of Mariah Yeater that he is the father of her 4-month-old son.
'It's Not OK for Everyone to Say I've Had Justin Bieber's Baby,' Says SingerMany are surprised that the pop star had decided on submitting to the DNA test, due to the fact that Yeater, whose paternity suit had been weakened when a number of her attorneys left the case, was recently documented through text messages as referring to former boyfriend Robbie Powell as the father of her child.
According to TMZ, Yeater communicated with a friend through text message, in which she begged that messages from her mother, which indicated that someone other than 17-year-old Bieber is the father of her child be erased.

She asked for any messages from her mom in which ex-boyfriend Robbie was named as the father to be erased.
From a text message in July, after giving birth, Yeater implied that Powell was the father of her child, as she begged a friend to tell Robbie about the importance of staying in his son’s life.
Still Bieber’s legal team had suggested that they would allow the star to still take the test in order to be able to sue Yeater once her claim had been proven false, accordingly, as a warning to others that there are consequences for making false charges against celebrities.
In an interview with the TV show Extra, in reference to his decision to take the test and disprove Yeater’s claims, the singer said:
"Just because she did it, we don't want it to seem like it’s okay for everyone to say, like, 'I had Justin's baby or having his baby.'"
