Ivana and Melania Trump Feud News: Donald Trump's First and Current Wives Sparring Over The 'First Lady' Title?

US President Donald Trump's wife Melania Trump expressed her distaste for her husband's ex-wife Ivana Trump after the latter referred to herself as the "first lady."

In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America to promote her book "Raising Trump," the mother of Trump's three eldest kids revealed that she has a direct number to the White House where she can easily call her ex-husband. But she claimed that she never calls him there because she believes that she might cause a problem between Trump and Melania.

"I don't really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I'm basically first Trump wife, OK? I'm first lady, OK?" the 68-year-old former model stated.

But the real First Lady of the United States fired back through a statement sent to CNN via her communications director Stephanie Grisham.

According to Grisham, the current Mrs. Trump settled in the White House with the President and their son Barron and made it their home. She was also privileged to take on the role of the US First Lady where she can concentrate on helping children instead of selling books, unlike Ivana.

"There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise," the communications director stated.

However, Ivana insisted that she and Melania have no problems in a recent interview with Fox News. According to the mother of Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Frederick, she sent a text message to Melania to clarify that she never dissed the First Lady particularly about her accent in public.

"I sent Melania the text, that the last thing I would like to do is say something bad about you, you know because you are family. And I don't say anything bad or anything back to the family member," Ivana said on Tuesday.

The President remains mum about the ongoing drama between his first and current wives.
