'iZombie' Season 2 – Liv and Major part ways and new friends enter Liv's life.
The first season of "iZombie" had Liv (Rose McIver) fight it out with Blaine (David Anders). She also had to kill Major (Robert Buckley) to save his life. But Major turned into a zombie and now he hates Liv for turning him into a zombie. These two incidents are the take-off points for "iZombie" Season 2.
Even though Liv and Blaine oppose each other, they come together when they realise that someone out there is killing the zombies. Hating each other, they still have to come together, leave their enmity aside and try to save the zombies.
Rob Thomas, creator of iZombie spoke to TVGuide.com. He said, "Certainly there's no love lost there, but they will find they may need each other's help before all zombies are taken out."

Liv does not have any friends as Major and she have parted ways. Major is angry with Liv for saving him and making a zombie out of him. There will be a huge difference between the Major of Season 1 and that of Season 2. In Season 1, Major was a gentle soul. In Season 2, he is a zombie and angry.
Soon two of Liv's friends turn up.
One is Peyton, played by Aly Michalla, who is an old character from Season 1. She is also Liv's best friend and roommate. When Peyton discovered that Liv is a zombie, she flees the house. She will now return and will have her own track, especially the story of her relationship with Ravi, played by Rahul Kohli.
A new friend also enters Liv's life. This character is called "Bettany" but no announcement yet has been made as to who will portray this role. There are pointers that this Bettany character may be a pivotal one as she becomes involved in the case that Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) is working on.
Simultaneously, Clive is investigating the case and Liv has to help him out to stop the plans of Max Rager CEO Vaughn Du Clark, played by Steven Webber. So Liv is troubled by the fact that Clive is investigating her ally.
The new characters and conflicts of Liv is sure to make "iZombie" Season 2 a must watch. "iZombie" Season 2 premieres on October 6 this year.
