'iZombie' Season 3 Episode 2: Major Eats the Brains of an Angsty Teen Girl; Clive's Past To Be Explored
The upcoming episode of "iZombie" season 3 will see Major (Robert Buckley) acting like a teenage girl after he ingests the brains of one.
The synopsis of the next episode, which is titled "Zombie Knows Best," states that Liv (Rose McIver), Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) will take interest in a case of a fatal car accident involving a man and his daughter. After becoming suspicious that foul play was involved, Liv and Major eat the brains of the victims.
Viewers will also learn more about Clive's history when he is taken in for questioning about a murdered family.
"You get to see how he met Wally and Anna, how he became so close with them," Goodwin told TVLine. The actor also explained that his character was close to forming an actual relationship with that family, but an obstacle gets in the way.
A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens with the car accident that killed the two victims, a good father and his 15-year-old daughter. Major does not think it is a good idea for him to eat the daughter's brains, but it looks like he ends up doing it anyway as the next few shots are of him acting like an angsty teen--taking topless selfies, rebelling and screaming "don't even."
But as all of this is happening, an uprising is already taking place. There is going to be a huge conflict between zombies and humans which will take shape this season. "There is going to be a humans-versus-zombies storyline that makes its way throughout the season, and Liv is going to be right in the middle of it," executive producer Rob Thomas told Entertainment Weekly.
As for those who like the Liv and Major pairing, Thomas revealed that season 3 will have "some treats in there" for them. However, he also revealed that Major has other romantic interests this season.
"iZombie" season 3 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
