Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Trade Rumors: Jaguars Shop Sen'Derrick Marks
The Jacksonville Jaguars should be tired of losing by now. They haven't made the playoffs since 2007 and the team was an absolute mess last season. The Jaguars can't be a rebuilding team forever, but they may have to clean house and start over again this year.
The team has already released defensive end Jared Odrick last month, and cornerback Davon House was also cut after they failed to trade him. According to Ryan O'Halloran of Jacksonville.com, defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks may be on the move as well and the Jaguars are reportedly shopping him around the league.
Marks is entering the final year of his contract and he's not exactly happy with his role with the team. He started for the Jaguars in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. However, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during the final game of the 2014 season and this caused him to miss the start of the 2015 season. He played in only four games when he returned before he was sidelined again due to a triceps injury. Marks was relegated to the bench when the Jaguars signed Malik Jackson and he only started one game last season.

Some observers may think that the Jaguars are trying to get rid of him because of the critical comments he made regarding his playing time, but that may not be the case, according to O'Halloran.
"Last season, Marks and House were both critical of the coaching staff for their lack of playing time. While it would be easy to connect the dots, it would also be a stretch to think the Jaguars would cut them for their comments if they still believed they were productive," O'Halloran said in his report.
Trading or releasing Marks will clear up $4.475 million in salary cap space for the Jaguars. With Marks gone, Sheldon Day will have the opportunity to step up and play more.
