Jacksonville Jaguars Will Host Tackle Prospect Cam Robinson

With the National Football League (NFL) just over a month away, teams have started to schedule pre-draft visits to get to know more about the prospects.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Buffalo Bills and the Carolina Panthers have already met former Alabama left tackle Cam Robinson, and now the Jacksonville Jaguars are next.

The Jaguars still have to address their offensive line and they can do that via the draft by selecting Robinson. He is, without a doubt, one of the top offensive tackles in the draft along with Utah's Garett Bolles and Wisconsin's Ryan Ramczyk. But is he worth a top-five pick?

According to NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah, Robinson's draft stock appears to be rising.

"In talking to coaches and scouts around the league, the name generating the most buzz is Alabama's Cam Robinson. He's not without faults on tape (he overextends too much and his balance is an issue at times) but he has outstanding size, length and power. He had a combine workout that was better than people expected, and he was very impressive in his team interviews. I won't be surprised if he ends up being the first offensive tackle selected, landing between picks 15 and 20," Jeremiah said in his report.

So, Jeremiah believes Robinson can land between the 15th and 20th pick. It should be noted that the Jaguars own the fourth overall pick in the draft, and a lot of pundits agree that's a bit high for Robinson or the other top tackle prospects.

Of course, the team can always trade down to a later pick. Who knows, the Jaguars may even use their fourth overall pick on Robinson if they think he's the man they are looking for.

If he slips out of the first round, the Jaguars can also select him with the 35th overall pick. However, many observers believe that Robinson will get picked in the first round, so the team will have to make a decision if they want the offensive line.
