First, Smith has lost his dreads and is now sporting a close-shaven look — a move that has his fans doing a double take on the pictures that are spreading on social media. Adlon, while just starting out on her own acting career, has a short run coming up on "Nashville" later this year as a character named Liv. Like Smith, she was also from an acting family, with her mom Pamela Adlon being known for "Californication," "Say Anything," "Bob's Burgers" and "Louie."
Smith, meanwhile, is also starting to prepare for his role in an upcoming movie. According to Just Jared, the shaven look is not just for show — it's in fact a part of his look for "Life in a Year" later this year.
