Jaleel White and Kym Johnson Settle 'DWTS' Rumors

Jaleel White, former "Family Matters" star and contestant on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," has been downplaying rumors that he and his partner Kym Johnson got into a heated argument during the shows rehearsals.

Several reports indicated that the shouting match occurred during rehearsals for this week's show. As the pair was practicing their routine, White accidently stepped on Johnson's foot and when she showed signs of discomfort he reportedly went off on her.

Us Weekly reported that White "flipped out" at Johnson after she said "ouch," after her foot was stepped on.

White then reportedly "got in her face, called her an 'idiot' and started going off on the producers and shouting about how they put him with a 'stupid' partner," a source told Us Weekly.

Other dancers rehearsing saw what was occurring and intervened. Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver and dancing professional Mark Ballas were the two who tried to diffuse the situation.

However, when Ballas tried to quell the situation White allegedly told Ballas: "You remind me of that annoying sitcom neighbor who gets into everyone's business," according to the source.

"The producers stepped in and broke it up before it got physical, but they were really going at it, right up in each other's faces," the source said, explaining the tense nature of dancing rehearsals.

When asked about the incident White explained that, "this is a competition and people have to understand that the tabloids, sadly, like to have fun with this show."

"Both Mark and Donald wound up having words with him, mostly trying to get him to realize that he needed to just get a grip already," the source explained.

When asked about the altercation, Ballas elaborated that sometimes during competitions these types of things happen.

"These things happen. This show is a competitive show. Things get heated ...This got severely twisted. We've been in the same room all night, and everything's fine," as reported by People Magazine.
