'James Bond 24: Spectre' news: Tickets to go on sale soon
While filming is on the way for the 24th movie in the "James Bond" franchise, it has been confirmed that tickets for the upcoming film will start to be on sale by Sep. 7.
According to Metro, by 7 a.m., fans with computer access should get online to get their ticket for the "Spectre," in order to watch the film for the first time in history on the same spectacular night when it makes its world premiere in London.
The 24th James Bond movie is the successor of the internationally acclaimed "Skyfall," which was the first and only film reported to have topped the £100 million record within the U.K. box office world.
Starring Daniel Craig, Bond is on an around-the-world mission to get to the secret movements of the organization called "Spectre."
The movie's synopsis reads:
"A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond (Daniel Craig) on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as Spectre."
Some outlets say Spectre is one of this year's most-anticipated films and is expected to take down Jurassic World's impressive box office records. However, experts are in the middle of deliberating whether it will beat Skyfall, which raked in $1.1 billion worldwide after it was released in 2012.
Meanwhile, photos of the movie's filming have been revealed, some portraying Craig's Bond as one who is willing to take the risk but only in "the most stylish way."
Also, the new trailer sent fans in a buzz as Christoph Waltz's portrayal of Bond's nemesis in his stare-down and shadowed glimpses somehow proved that the Oscar-winning actor will not disappoint the audiences.
The London world premiere for Spectre is slated for October 26, though no official venue has been announced just yet.
