James Woods Twitter Fight With Amber Tamblyn: She Says He's a Hypocrite; He Says She's Lying

James Woods (Ray Donovan) got into a Twitter fight with Amber Tamblyn (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) this week that sent a firestorm on the social media platform. The 70-year-old actor and the 34-year-old actress went back and forth on their spat and she revealed a shocking detail about why she couldn't stand the actor.

The fight started with Woods criticizing Armie Hammer's new movie "Call Me by Your Name" by saying that it was indecent. Hammer's film is about a relationship between a 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy.

Woods used #NAMBLA in his tweet, which referred to the pedophile advocacy group, North American Man/Boy Love Association. Hammer shot back at Woods by implying that he once had a relationship with a 19-year-old at age 60.

At this point, Tamblyn also joined in the discussion and implied that Woods was a hypocrite. She was 16-years-old when Woods tried a move on her in Las Vegas.

The whole thing snowballed quickly with Woods claiming that Tamblyn was lying. She did not back down and continued to tweet Woods that the issue was far from finished, suggesting she could reveal more. Tamblyn did share more in an open letter to the 70-year-old actor on Teen Vogue.

"Since you've now called me a liar, I will now call you a silencer," Tamblyn wrote and proceeded to detail what really happened when Woods tried to pick her up in Las Vegas 18-years-ago. The actress, who is married to "Arrested Development" star David Cross, advised Woods to reflect on his relationships and change his behavior towards women.

Woods did date then 19-year-old Ashley Madison in 2007. Their relationship lasted for seven years and then Woods dated 20-year-old Kristen Bauguess after Madison.
