'Jane the Virgin' Season 2 Spoilers: Mid-Season Finale Features Mateo's First Christmas, Groom Remains a Mystery
American romantic comedy-drama "Jane the Virgin" is scheduled to air its mid-season finale soon and it's going to show Mateo's first Christmas. However, the Holiday cheer hasn't reached the baby's parents yet as spoiler reports reveal that Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) are still at odds with each other.
According to the official synopsis of the upcoming season 2 episode 8 revealed in Spoiler TV, there's going to be more family drama between Jane and Rafael just as they are preparing to celebrate their son's first Christmas. It also said that Jane will find out that the scholarship she received isn't exactly what she thought it was. So now, she has to find a way to pay for grad school. Meanwhile, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) has hired an intern but he is having trust issues with him.
And while Petra (Yael Grobglas) is dealing with the latest problem her mother has gotten them into, Michael (Brett Dier) is out to look for Luisa's mother whom he believes is very much alive and not dead. He suspects that she may have something to do with Sin Rostro.
But more than the Villanueva's holiday celebration, the series is expected to hold an important event. According to reports, it is already known that Jane will tie the knot soon. But the question of who she will marry still remains a mystery. At the beginning of season 2, Jane is contemplating between Michael and Rafael.
Other reports detailed that Jane was about to choose Michael but someone told his boss that he let his former partner escape, after learning that she worked for Sin Rostro. Michael confronted Rafael as the suspect of being the whistle blower. They got into a fight that caused an injury to Jane's son. That's when she kicked Michael out of her life and Rafael was quick to sway in to the picture. She was about to give in to Rafael's offer of raising their child together when she found out that Rafael did set Michael up.
Now things have gotten more mysterious and fans will just have to watch out who Jane will choose in the end. "Jane the Virgin" mid-season finale will air on Dec. 14 on CW.
