Janice Dickinson Engaged, 'Couldn't Be Happier'
Janice Dickinson has announced that she will take another trip down the aisle after her engagement to Los Angeles-based psychologist Dr. Robert Gerner.
The pair confirmed their engagement after three months of dating. It will be the fourth marriage for the reality television star and former supermodel.
"I intend to make Rocky the happiest man in the world for the rest of his life," said 57-year-old Dickinson speaking to Us Weekly about her fiancé, who often goes by the nickname "Rocky."
"I couldn't be happier right now," the "Top Model" judge continued.
Furthermore, Dickinson hinted at the plans for her upcoming nuptials, comparing them to the wedding plans for Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
"Oh! And our wedding is going to make Brad and Angelina's look like a trip to city hall," quipped the "first supermodel."
Dickinson noted that her children, Nathan Fields and Savannah Dickinson, share her happiness.
"My children, Nathan and Savvy, are over the moon and so happy that their mother is so in love," said the star.
It is believed that Gerner proposed to Dickinson after ring shopping, and the pair celebrated the event with friends on Saturday.
"I had a great tine last night and all my friends did too," the newly engaged psychologist told Us Weekly.
"We complete each other, our personalities really complement each other," Gerner continued.
Dickinson, who recognizes herself as the first supermodel, was one of the most successful models throughout the 1970s and 1980s. She went on to open her own modeling agency in 2005, which became the premise for the television series "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" in 2006.
The New York City native's former husbands include Ron Levy, Simon Fields, and Albert Gerston.
In addition to modeling and television, Dickinson released three memoirs: "No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel" as well as its follow-up, "Everything About Me is Fake…. And I'm Perfect," and "Check Please! Dating, Mating, and Extricating."
