Jenelle Evans Pregnant: 'Teen Mom' Wants 'Second Chance' After Losing Custody of Jace
"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans is reportedly expecting her second child, her husband Courtland Rogers has confirmed.
The troubled 21-year-old, who lost custody of her first child Jace, is allegedly preparing to be a mother again. Evans' mother Barbara currently has custody of her son and the reality star is said to be due in September, according to Star magazine.
"Me and Jenelle are so happy that she's pregnant," Evans' husband of two months reportedly told Star. "She told me, 'I'm looking forward to a second chance.'"
Rogers, who like Evans does not have custody of his child from a previous relationship, also revealed that his wife is confident that having another child will be a positive thing despite critics being up in arms over the news.
"[Jenelle] thinks if she can prove that she's a good mother, she can get Jace back," he said.
Evans had a difficult year during 2012 as she was arrested in June following a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend Gary Head. More recently, she was also caught up in a drug scandal with a friend, which suggested the MTV star was previously addicted to heroin. Critics are now questioning whether she is fit to have another child.
In a series of tweets, Rogers recently blasted Evans' ex-boyfriend Keiffer Delp, and blamed him for allegedly getting her "hooked on heroin."
"Just leave me and my WIFE .. Mrs. Rogers alone go about ur heroin based life it's funny people think I am a junkie wait till thy see this next season on how u did jenelle and got her hooked on heroin u stupid duck she almost died cuz of u dumba--," Rogers tweeted.
Evans' December wedding to Rogers shocked many of her fans and her sister recently confirmed that her family was just as stunned by the news of their marriage, according to RadarOnline.com.
"Our whole family is shocked because they have not been dating very long," Ashleigh told Radar. "At this point, after all that she has been through, she should know better than this."
The couple were recently rumored to be divorcing following another one of their seemingly endless public disputes, although they have since denied the split reports. Rogers' ex-girlfriend has since made explosive claims accusing him of admitting that his marriage to Evans is "not going to last."
"Courtland tried to reach me on Facebook and he ended up getting my number from a mutual acquaintance and texted me before finally calling me," Rogers' ex-girlfriend Alicia Townsend told Radar. "I asked him about married life and he said he wasn't happy and it wasn't going well. He said, 'I know it's not going to last.'"
