Jenelle Evans Re-Enters Rehab to Treat Heroin Addiction
'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans has reportedly admitted herself into a rehab treatment facility just days after checking out of a detox center to treat her drug addiction.
The troubled reality TV star checked into a detox center at the end of February, and while she lasted only a few days, she eventually checked into a rehab facility to better her life for good. Evans was involuntarily admitted to rehab for 72 hours in November, but she was unable to remain clean.
"Jenelle was in great spirits before she went in. She is really hoping that she can get control of her life," a source told RadarOnline.
"She is bi-polar and she's had a really hard time balancing the medication she needs for that," the source went on.
Evans, who joined the show in 2009, has become infamous for her erratic behavior, as she is constantly making headlines for her vicious catfights, drug use, and subsequent legal woes. Now the single Mom is reportedly ready to change after acknowledging that her life is spiraling downward.
"She basically freaked out over all the crap in her life. Jenelle was just partying and doing drugs and doing really stupid things with guys and she couldn't stop," the source said.
"Jenelle knows she needs help. She feels like s--- when she does all the drugs and has the guys treating her badly so she's hoping this will really help her this time," the source explained.
In January, Evans announced that she was filing for divorce from Courtland Rogers after just two months of marriage. Days later, she suffered a miscarriage and Rogers claimed that the MTV star had been using drugs throughout her pregnancy, which likely led to the miscarriage.
"Everyone has been worried about Jenelle doing heroin, even though she was denying that for a long time," a source said previously.
"Jenelle has been through the wringer lately," the insider went on. "She got married to a guy that she now thinks is a disaster, got pregnant, had a miscarriage and is basically falling apart."
