Jenna Dewan-Tatum Celebrates Husband's Success
Jenna Dewan-Tatum and her husband Channing Tatum have a lot to celebrate this year.
The couple met while co-starring in "Step Up" which propelled them into stardom, and ever since their marriage in 2009, the actors have been continuing their success.
It has been a particularly big year for Tatum. The actor starred in three films that grossed over $100 million domestically- "The Vow," "21 Jump Street," and "Magic Mike."
On Wednesday, People magazine announced that Channing Tatum topped their annual "Sexiest Man Alive" list. The actor's wife was one of the first to respond to the news.
"Well obviously I agree," wrote Dewan-Tatum on her Twitter account. "Good job @Peoplemag! Congrats to my humble, loving, talented, and yes- SEXY- love @channingtatum!"
The 32-year-old actor also relayed Dewan-Tatum's initial reaction to his title with People magazine.
"I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked," explained Tatum of his wife, according to People. "She was like, 'What?' She calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now."
Moreover, earlier this week, Tatum was named GQ magazine's Man of the Year. The actor's wife posted her congratulations again via Twitter.
"So proud of my love, he's GQ's man of the year!! So deserved," wrote the actress and dancer.
With so much to celebrate, it seems likely that the pair will have even more congratulations in order before long as they have been talking about growing their family.
"I'm ready; I think she's ready," said Tatum of he and his wife having children. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that."
The actor noted the difference between men and women's ideas about having children.
"It's really easy for us guys to say, 'I want like 15 kinds,'" said Tatum. "Jenna will be like, 'Well you better get another wife!'"
Both actors have gushed about their marriage in the past, including Dewan-Tatum, who described her husband as "emotionally deep and spiritually open," according to the magazine.
"He is such a open-hearted person," said the 31-year-old "American Horror Story" star. "What you see is what you get."
