Jenna von Oy Welcomes Baby Girl 'Gray'

Former "Blossom" star Jenna von Oy has become a mom. She and husband, Brad Bratcher, have welcomed a baby girl named Gray Audrey into the world in Nashville this week.

The baby girl was delivered three weeks prior to her due date via C-section, and weighed in at 7 lbs 6 oz. according to reports.

Von Oy, 35, told People magazine, "Brad and I are, of course, ecstatic she's here and we are madly in love with her already. It's truly unimaginable how quickly she wrapped us around her little finger! We are exhausted by enjoying every moment of it, as every moment she's doing something new and memorable."

"Parents of girls are starting to turn to color names for creative ideas that sound gently androgynous," baby name expert Laura Wattenberg, from BabyNameWizard.com, has told omg!. "Names like Gray have been mostly male in the past, but so rare that it doesn't feel like you're "stealing" a boy's name. Plus light, one-syllable names for girls are always in demand."

Von Oy explained to People, "We were just so drawn to it; we knew early on that it was the right one."

Meanwhile von Oy's "Blossom" co-star Mayim Bialik has also been in the press recently explaining her unique parenting techniques. Bialik, who now appears in "The Big Bang Theory," explained to CNN how she shares a bed with her husband and two children, Miles, 6, and Frederick, 3. She believes that she will share the bed with them till they are about 5 to 7-years-old. She has said, "It is normal to be close to someone who loves you at night. There's nothing weird about it."
