Jennifer Aniston Best Man: Actress' 'Punk' Brother Joins Bridal Party?
Jennifer Aniston recently confirmed that she and Justin Theroux are yet to set a wedding date however a new report claims the actress' half brother is set to be best man.
Alex John Aniston, 24, reportedly agreed to be a part of the Hollywood couple's bridal party after being approached about the role of Best Man by Theroux, 41. Aniston, 44, and Theroux got engaged in 2012 after one year of dating.
"Justin feels that having AJ act as his best man at the wedding will give him an anchor in the family. There's no doubt that AJ is quirky, but he's got a good heart and Jen does love him," a source said as reported by HuffingtonPost.com.
"AJ is exactly the kind of person that security would throw out of Jen's wedding. Instead he'll be front and centre at the ceremony," the source explained.
The heavily tattooed half sibling of Aniston, who has been described as a "crust punk" by critics, refused to confirm Best Man reports while attending the Burning Man festival in the Nevada Desert. Alex, also known as AJ, was asked about the former "Friends" actress by a Daily Mail UK reporter.
"It's been happening since middle school (people asking about Jennifer). It's been a pain in my a-- for years. No comment," Alex told Daily Mail UK.
Meanwhile Aniston who has been busy promoting her latest film "We're The Millers" in recent weeks, confirmed that while her wedding to Theroux is still on there is no exact date. In July various reports claimed the couple had called off their wedding to to alleged relationship woes however the actress cleared up these rumors in a recent interview.
"We have yet to set any date. There have been no cancelled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings," Aniston told E! News. "There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up."
Although the Hollywood couple is still deciding on a wedding date, Aniston revealed that she has already decided on a hairstyle for her big day. The actress, who made the "Rachel" hairstyle famous in the 1990s, revealed that she literally plans to let her hair down for her nuptials to Theroux.
"For my wedding, I wouldn't do an updo, but I think a veil is always pretty. I like loose and natural hair because it goes against the formality of the dress," Aniston told Marie Claire magazine. "Loose, like 'I just got out of bed, maybe had a romp' hair."
