Jennifer Aniston Criticizes Marriage to Brad Pitt?
Jennifer Aniston recently criticized her past relationships, which she claims helped her improve her dating standards. While the actress insists that there is no feud between her and ex-husband Brad Pitt, her latest comments has some fans suspecting that there actually one.
"Having experienced everything you don't want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want. As I get older, I realize what qualities are important in love, and what suits me. And what I won't settle for," Aniston told In Style magazine U.K.
Aniston, who is now dating her "Wanderlust" co-star Justin Theroux, was faced with a public divorce from Pitt in 2005 after his alleged affair with actress, Angelina Jolie.
The 43-year-old insists that she has moved on from Pitt, and when asked what the public's biggest misconception about her is, she addressed the ongoing rumors that she and Jolie are at war over her ex-husband.
"I would say the triangle with my ex-husband – and that there's a feud. It's a headline that won't go away – a story that has nothing to do with reality," Aniston said.
While Pitt, 47, appears to have moved on with Jolie, Aniston insists that her life with Theroux is "joyful and peaceful."
"[I'm] so happy!" Aniston recently told "CBS This Morning" host, Gayle King.
The couple, who have been dating since May 2011, are reportedly preparing to get married in Greece, where Aniston's father originates from.
"Jennifer and Justin have agreed that they want to tie the knot in Crete, specifically in the beautiful town of Chania, where her father was born. Her father always made sure that she appreciated her Greek roots, and Jennifer feels Crete is the ideal setting for her nuptials," a source told The Enquirer.
The former "Friends" actress was overheard telling a friend that she does expect to be married to Theroux soon.
"If he's not got down on one knee, or we're not married, by the end of the year, it's over!" Aniston was overheard saying according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.
