Jennifer Aniston Engagement Ring Looks Like Angelina Jolie's?
Jennifer Aniston is said to be thrilled with the engagement ring that Justin Theroux presented to her on Friday night, but new reports suggest that it may look similar to Angelina Jolie's.
The 43-year-old former "Friends" actress reportedly received a large 8-carat sparkler which she now happily wears on her left hand, and although Jolie's engagement ring from Brad Pitt is said to be 10 carats, both rings allegedly feature similar emerald cut diamonds.
"It's a huge emerald-cut diamond," a friend of Jen's told Life & Style magazine. "It's a rectangle with tapered diamond baguettes on the sides. It's beautiful!"
Jolie, 36, became engaged to Pitt, who is Aniston's ex-husband, in April and despite ongoing reports of an affair, the actress has vehemently denied getting involved with the 48-year-old while he was still married to Aniston.
The awkward resemblance between the two engagement rings has reportedly not affected Aniston and while rumors that Jolie dislikes her $500,000 engagement ring continue to swirl, it has been said that Aniston "loves" hers.
"Just after Jen got engaged, she called all her friends and told them about it," the source said. "She was so happy and said she loves the ring. I think she was overwhelmed and overjoyed by the size and beauty of it!"
Theroux, 41, proposed to Aniston, his girlfriend of one year, on Friday at the Blue Hill restaurant in Greenwich Village, New York City.
Despite recent reports that the pair had split, the couple are very much still together and Theroux's representative confirmed their engagement.
"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," Theroux's representative Ina Treciokas said Sunday.
It was recently revealed that Theroux has convinced Aniston to invite her estranged mother, Nancy Dow, to their wedding ceremony following their 12-year estrangement. Dow reportedly did tell-all press interviews despite Aniston's requests for privacy which harmed their relationship
"Nancy and Jennifer have had their ups and downs, but they're going to let bygones be bygones and she will be invited to her daughter's wedding ceremony," a family insider reportedly told RadarOnline.com.
"She was told of the invitation by her son, John, which she was obviously delighted with. Sadly, the initial fallout between Nancy and Jennifer in 1999 meant that she wasn't on the guest list for the 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt -- something that always haunted her," the source went on.
