Jennifer Aniston Frustrated With Pregnancy Rumors? Actress 'Desperate to be a Mother'

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly fed up with recurring pregnancy rumors as sources claim the actress has been trying to conceive for over one year.

On Wednesday an Us Weekly report claimed the "Friends" star, 44, was expecting her first child with her fiance, Justin Theroux, however a rep for the actress immediately dismissed the rumor as false. For years Aniston, who was once married to Brad Pitt, has faced pregnancy rumors and sources claim she has grown increasingly frustrated.

"It's starting to be a source of irritation for Jen," a source told Daily Mail UK. "She puts a brave face on the rumors, but it masks her desperate desire to be a mother."

In 2012 Theroux, 42, proposed to the "We're The Millers" actress after one year of dating and the couple has reportedly been trying for a baby ever since. Their alleged struggle to conceive has reportedly been difficult, particularly in recent months.

"Jen purposely left her work slate clean for the next few months to prepare for motherhood," a source revealed.

Aniston recently admitted that the media's obsession with her getting pregnant is irritating. During an interview with ABC News on Aug. 7, the actress was asked to reveal some of the most annoying questions that she is often asked by journalists.

"Oh, 'if I was to have a child how many kids do I want?' And 'do I want a boy or a girl?'" Aniston said, quoting journalists.

"I didn't realize you could place orders!" she joked. "I honestly didn't realize it was like a drive-through, that you could talk to a little electronic voice."

Aniston previously weighed in on the societal assumption that for women happiness is synonymous with motherhood.

"It's very narrow-minded I think," Aniston previously told CBS co-host Gayle King about the assumptions that she must be unhappy because she has never had children.

"That doesn't measure the level of my happiness or my success in my life, in my achievements, in any of that. It's truly being comfortable and not giving a crap what other people think!" Aniston explained.

The actress and Theroux are yet to set a wedding date and she recently revealed that they will wed when the time is right.

"We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job and, you know, we already feel married," she said. "There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up."
