Jennifer Aniston: Happiness Level is '10 Plus!'
Jennifer Aniston has a lot to be happy about these days, and the actress has recently rated her happiness level at "10 plus."
Aniston has a new relationship with fellow actor Justin Theroux, a new movie out and a new home in Los Angeles. She is certainly not complaining about her blessings and has told Australian radio that she is incredibly happy with her life. One of the biggest factors has been the relocation to Los Angeles.
"We tried New York, but it felt like I was [living] in a fishbowl," she explained.
"Justin still has an apartment [in New York]… It was a little rough with the paparazzi. It didn't feel like the New York I grew up in and knew," Aniston said. "Here in L.A. you have a more relaxed sense of the world and life and you realize there's nothing to be taken too seriously besides doing your work and being a really good person."
Aniston and Theroux purchased their $24.9 million mansion in Jan. and have moved in together. The couple have been together since May of last year, and recently starred together in "Wanderlust." Aniston, who is often the subject of wedding and pregnancy rumors, has spoken out about those two subjects, shedding new light into her attitude toward the paparazzi and life.
She reportedly told friends that she will "be married by the end of the year" to Theroux. Ever since adopting a new puppy named Sophie, the couple has been much closer.
"We're constantly laughing," she told friends. "No we've got our new baby, things are getting serious."
Aniston told CBS's Gayle King that having a baby "doesn't measure the level of happiness or my success in my life, in my achievements, in any of that. It's truly being comfortable and not giving a crap what other people think!"
Happiness also comes from knowing who you are, and Aniston has made it clear that she refuses to give in to peer pressure or believe all the rumors the media states. Aniston was recently honored with a Hollywood Star of Fame for her work in movies, which came as a surprise since she will forever be known as Rachel from "Friends."
While many actresses may fear turning another year older, Aniston embraces it. "I think it's important every year to celebrate your birthday and be excited about it," she told King. "I'm 43 and it's great!"
