Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux 'Barely' Talking; Engagement Off?
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are reportedly experiencing relationship woes and sources claim the engaged couple barely speaks.
On Tuesday, the former "Friends" actress celebrated her 45th birthday with friends in Los Angeles while Theroux, 42, partied with friends in New York which raised questions about their engagement. The pair got engaged in 2012 after one year of dating, but they are yet to set a wedding date.
"They're barely communicating right now and plans haven't advanced at all this year," an insider told Daily Mail.
"Justin is in New York, Jen is in California and they've rarely seen each other since the start of the year," the source revealed.
Aniston, who was once married to actor Brad Pitt, is said to be frustrated with her fiance's passive approach to wedding planning, which has led to arguments.
"Jen is furious at Justin over his passivity on the wedding and there have been more than a few arguments on the subject recently," the source explained.
"She feels like he's broken his pledge to be more proactive when it comes to wedding planning," the insider continued. "He consistently won't finalize agreement for a date and 18 months after they got engaged, she just feels he's been doing less than ever."
Theroux, who starred alongside Aniston in the 2012 film "Wanderlust," began dating the actress in 2011.
Last year reports claimed the couple hit a stumbling block in their relationship due to their living situation. Theroux, who shares a Bel Air home with Aniston, previously moved to New York to film his new series "The Leftovers" while the "We're The Millers" actress remained in California.
"Jen and Justin have hit a rough patch," a source previously told Life & Style magazine. "Right now, there are no wedding plans, no baby plans and no more buying houses together."
