Jennifer Aniston recently posed makeup-free for a candid close-up photo alongside her hairstylist, and her radiant appearance has left fans in awe.

The "Friends" star, 44, sported side-swept bangs with reading glasses casually placed on top of her head and Chris McMillan, who is also Aniston's best friend of 20-years confirmed she was makeup-free in his photo caption.

"Best#friends #no makeup #girl-time," McMillan captioned alongside the photo.

On social networking sites fans applauded Aniston's brave decision to pose bare-faced particularly because doing so is a rarity among Hollywood stars. The actress previously revealed that unlike others, she does not rely on Botox or filler injections to maintain her youthful appearance and instead uses natural resources like water to stay in shape.

"People think that I do a lot of injections, but I don't," Aniston told InStyle magazine when asked if she gets Botox or filler injections.

"I'm not saying that I haven't tried it…but I see how it's a slippery slope. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me," she added.

In January Aniston became the new face of skincare manufacturer Aveeno and she recently shared her skincare secrets to New York magazine.

"I can never stress enough to my friends that they must do as I do ... hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink lots of water, get enough sleep, exercise, and eat a clean healthy diet, whenever possible," she told NY mag.

The actress, who is engaged to Justin Theroux and currently planning their wedding, opened up about her daily beauty regimen.

"The skin care rule I stand by is simply cleanse, tone, and moisturize. I also try to exfoliate pretty regularly. Awhile back I was doing a movie in the summer heat. Long days with a face full of makeup made my skin react badly," Aniston said.

"My makeup artist on set did a great thing, she gave me a tube of Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Scrub to use every night. And I've been using it ever since," she added.
