Jennifer Aniston Wedding: Actress, Justin Theroux to Wed in Surprise Ceremony?

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux will reportedly wed in a secret ceremony on Saturday, exactly one-year to the day that the actor proposed.

The Hollywood couple have reportedly invited close friends and family to an event they claim is a birthday party to mark Theroux's 42nd birthday, however, reports claim they will surprise guests with a secret wedding. Nancy Dow, who is Aniston's estranged mother, is said to be invited to the ceremony.

"August 10th is Justin's birthday, and their nearest and dearest have been invited to a huge 'birthday party'. But everyone is convinced they're planning to exchange vows within the grounds of their new home and for it to be a huge surprise on the day," a source told the Daily Mirror UK.

"They have gone to extreme lengths to keep it quiet – openly lying to their friends to keep up the ruse," the source continued. "Apparently it's going to be a very low-key affair with the possibility of a bigger celebration later on in the year."

The couple, who began dating after meeting on the 2011 set of "Wanderlust," purchased a $21 million Bel Air mansion in 2012. They are expected to tie the knot on the 8,500-square-foot property.

In 2012 it was claimed that Theroux had convinced the former "Friends" star, 44, to invite Dow to their wedding ceremony following an ongoing feud. Aniston did not invite her mother to her 2000 nuptials to Brad Pitt, however, they have both agreed to finally put an end to their bickering.

"Nancy and Jennifer have had their ups and downs, but they're going to let bygones be bygones and she will be invited to her daughter's wedding ceremony," a family insider previously told Radar Online.

"She was told of the invitation by her son, John, which she was obviously delighted with. Sadly, the initial fallout between Nancy and Jennifer in 1999 meant that she wasn't on the guest list for the 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt -- something that always haunted her," the source went on.

Aniston reconciled with Dow in 2008 following their 12-year estrangement, although the relationship has reportedly remained tense. Aniston previously urged her mother to never discuss her private life to the press, but Dow blatantly ignored these requests and in 1996 did a tell-all TV interview.

"Nancy's reasons for doing that have always been suspect, but Jennifer and all those 'Friends' stars were under such a microscope. It's easy to see why they were so gun-shy. When Nancy did that interview, Jen just went ballistic," a source previously said.

The actress, who made the "Rachel" hairstyle famous in the 1990s, recently revealed that she literally plans to let her hair down for her nuptials to Theroux.

"For my wedding, I wouldn't do an updo, but I think a veil is always pretty. I like loose and natural hair because it goes against the formality of the dress," Aniston told Marie Claire magazine. "Loose, like 'I just got out of bed, maybe had a romp' hair."
