Jennifer Garner Confronts Paparazzo For Taping Her Children

Jennifer Garner approached a paparazzo when she realized he was recording her three children at a farmer's market over the weekend.

The actress is a staunch supporter of stricter laws protecting children of celebrities from the glare of the camera, and the unauthorized recording enraged her on Sunday.

During a shopping trip with her kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel as well as her mother-in-law in Pacific Palisades, Calif., Garner chided a photographer for taking an unauthorized video recording of her children, according to the New York Daily News.

The confrontation occurred just two months after the "Dallas Buyers Club" star joined forces with fellow actress Halle Berry and gave a tearful testimony in court in favor of stronger anti-paparazzo laws.

Their plea in front of the California State Assembly Committee on Public Safety bill has yet to see results.

The actress' requests on tougher laws echo the sentiments of countless other celebrities who have publicly lamented the media's following in public areas.

However, their complaints are often met with those who feel it is the price of stardom. The topic remains widely controversial, especially in Los Angeles, where laws are in motion to protect both celebrities and paparazzi.

Among those in a contentious relationship with the media is Justin Bieber, who admitted his rocky relationship with paparazzi while in London earlier this year.

"My relationship with the media is not always easy but I'm trying," wrote the singer on his Twitter account. "Im all about the music and the performance and I respect my fans. I never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. And Im not okay with things being exaggerated once again sorry for anyone upset."

Also, a particularly aggravated incident saw actor Sean Penn in a violent altercation with a photographer that involved kicking, resulting in a three-year probation for the actor.
