Jennifer Garner: Third Baby 'Sent Me Over the Edge'

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may be the proud parents of three children, but it was not an easy decision for Garner to make. In an interview with Conan O'Brien, Garner admitted that having a third child "put me right over the edge."

"We wanted a third and we had a third, and I wouldn't trade him for anything. But you know how to feels like six? Three just put me right over the edge," the actress explained. "I was going up to anyone on the street saying, 'Would you please come work at my house?'"

Garner and Affleck have two daughters, Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3. Their third child, Samuel, was born on February 27, much to the delight of both Garner and Affleck. The couple currently has no plans to expand their family, with Garner telling Ellen DeGeneres, "I plan to be done."

Of course, Garner took a lighthearted approach in her interview with O'Brien, telling him she asked people "on the street, 'Would you please come help me? Just take a child. Do something!'"

Recently, Affleck revealed that Garner does "everything" for the family. "I am not very present in the rest of my life. My wife's very patient. If I have time, I try to spend time with the kids, even if it is just to be a physical presence, the bath, whatever," he told Details magazine.

"Now everything has to compete with being with my family," Affleck added. "I don't want to be a stay-at-home dad. Work is very important to me. I like to work. So does my wife. But I need my work to mean something in order for me to not be home with them."

Affleck and Garner have been married for seven years and present a united front when it comes to their public and personal lives.
