Jennifer Lawrence and Boyfriend Nicholas Hoult Split? Chris Martin Reports Emerge

The internet is abuzz today with fresh rumors of an unlikely pairing, that of "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Us Magazine is reporting that the Oscar winner was recently spotted at a Coldplay concert in New York City, where eyewitnesses say she got a special mention from the 37-year old singer.

Apparently, Martin made a "Hunger Games" reference and appeared to blow a kiss to Lawrence, who was seated in an upstairs VIP booth overlooking the stage.

A source told E! News that the pair has been spending a lot of time together since Lawrence split with her on-off boyfriend, 'X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult. Another source told the website earlier this month that the breakup was "very amicable" and that their successful careers have allegedly made it difficult for them to find time for their relationship.

These days, Martin is single as he and ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow announced their separation after more than 10 years of marriage in March. The pair made the announcement on Paltrow's website, Goop, with a post titled "Conscious Uncoupling."

Since the breakup, the exes have remained friendly and are allegedly still living together at their Brentwood home. Since they announced the split, Paltrow and Martin have been sighted on more than one occasion usually with their children in tow, and they appear to be quite friendly with each other.

"They've tried to keep things as stable and as consistent as possible for their kids," said a source to E!News in June.

"They spend a lot of time together as a family and haven't changed things since they announced they were splitting up. Other than taking off their wedding bands, they seem closer than ever."
