Jennifer Lawrence 'Dumb and Dumber To' Cameo Filmed, 'Hunger Games' Cast Visits Set

Jennifer Lawrence's "Dumb and Dumber To" cameo has been filmed, and the "Hunger Games" actress was happy to be a part of the much-anticipated sequel to the Farrelly Brothers comedy. "Dumber and Dumber To" will revisit moronic characters Harry Christmas and Lloyd Dunne, played by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, respectively.

Jennifer Lawrence's cameo in "Dumb and Dumber To" is a small part that took only one day to film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Hollywood starlet will fill the role of Fraida Felcher, the daughter of Kathleen Turner. Lawrence is also reportedly a big fan of the Farrelly brothers' comedies.

"I know every word to 'Dumb and Dumber,' 'Step Brothers' and 'Anchorman,'" the actress told Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night" earlier this year.

Lawrence wasn't the only "Hunger Games" star that got to hang out on the movie set. "Mockingjay," the movie sequel, has a set close to "Dumb and Dumber To" in Atlanta, so the entire cast of the film was allowed to see parts of the movie filmed.

The sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" is about the two idiotic roommates finding Harry's long-lost daughter. Daniels revealed that the film goes far beyond some of the pranks in the 1994 cult hit.

"There are some things we're going to do in 'Dumb & Dumber To' that are going to make the toilet scene look lame," the actor told reporters backstage at the Emmy's.

Excitement is shoring up about the film, which nearly wasn't made. Carrey and Daniels have busy schedules, and negotiations took some time. However, now fans can't wait to see their pals reunited.

"We're Back #DumbTo" Daniels wrote on Instagram underneath a picture of him and Jim Carrey in costume as Lloyd and Harry. The picture was retweeted over 70,000 times.

"Dumb and Dumber To" is set to be released in 2014.
