Jennifer Lawrence Hosts SNL (VIDEO)

Jennifer Lawrence was the host on the most recent episode of "Saturday Night Live," which was given mixed reviews.

While preparing to host "Saturday Night Live," Lawrence admitted that she would be going in blindly without having the advice from her fellow "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Bradley Cooper or other cast mates.

"No, they didn't," she told Access Hollywood of her co-stars offering advice. "They should've. They've just said it's going to be the most amazing experience of my life, which they were right about."

SNL began with a fake Piers Morgan news report during which Lance Armstrong appears as a guest, to discuss performance-enhancing drugs.

"Am I sorry I did it? Yes. Ish. No," Jason Sudeikis said, impersonating Armstrong. Manti Te'o and Jodie Foster also appeared on the fake news report before a joke advertisement of Starbuck's fairly new Verismo. The machine was advertised as the new "get your order and your name wrong" at home brewing system. In between both segments Lawrence also was featured.

Next Lawrence appeared in a "Girlfriends Talk Show" skit before moving on to a post "Hunger Games" press conference. Lawrence was given the best rating for her pseudo "Hunger Games" interview. Some viewers said the episode was disappointing overall.

"That...that was incredibly disappointing," one viewer said on the HitFix blog. "I was hoping for something that was interesting while working (grad school whooooooo!) This was not it... There was the...yup, just the Hunger Games."

Others however said Lawrence came off well as a host.

"What was nice about this episode is that even though the sketches were subpar, Lawrence still came off well in the end, which is really important for any guest host but more so for a young, Oscar nominated guest host," another viewer prompted. "You almost feel as if the show was holding her back from her true potential."
