Jenny McCarthy shared big news about her personal life on Wednesday's "The View."
During the morning talk show, McCarthy excitedly shared news of her engagement to Donnie Wahlberg before jumping up and down in front of the audience. Moreover, the 41-year-old bride-to-be shared details about the proposal, including Wahlberg's inclusion of her son, Evan.
"This weekend I was sitting with Donnie … and he went into the other room and out came Evan with a card that said 'Will' and he handed it to me," she explained during the segment. "Then Evan ran away and then came back into the room with the word 'You' and then he ran away and I knew it was happening and I just started crying. And then Evan came back with a card that said 'Marry' but spelled wrong, and then Donnie came out with Evan, and Donnie's shirt said 'Me' with a question mark holding the ring."
McCarthy explained that she "of course" said yes, but that the best moment was hearing her 11-year-old son Evan's joyous reaction.
"Evan yelled, 'I have another Dad,'" she explained, with tears coming to her eyes. The anchor also revealed her giant yellow sapphire engagement ring.
"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, he's so wonderful," McCarthy added just seconds before Wahlberg surprised the all anchors on "The View."
After the audience's wild applause quieted, the happy couple admitted that they do not have specific wedding plans yet. Meanwhile, McCarthy had teased her Twitter followers with hints about Wednesday's episode of "The View."
"Good morning my friends. Have a kick a-- Wednesday. Between us, I would watch #theview today, just sayn," she wrote.
Later, McCarthy tweeted, "Thank you for all the sweet wishes. @DonnieWahlberg and I are grateful and blessed. #love #bhlove."
