Jeremy, Adrienne Camp share 9 tips for thriving in God-glorifying marriage
Through Christ, all things are possible
For couples struggling in their marriages, Jeremy and Adrienne offered the reminder that “nothing is impossible through Christ.” Even the most broken marriages, they emphasized, can be restored.
“The Bible is full of examples of how God redeemed even the grossest, most devastating situations and people,” Jeremy said. “So often, we limit God and put Him in a box where we say, ‘There’s no way we can salvage this.’ But Christ dying on the cross gave us all the power we need to change. Don’t limit what Christ did on the cross.
“The reality is, the pain that we feel in a marriage is real,” Adrienne added. “We have this ability to bring out the worst in each other and hurt each other. Betrayal is real. But God is a God of resurrection and life. When we feel hopeless, we need to get on our knees and bring our brokenness to Him.
“My heart’s cry is, ‘Don’t give up,’” the South African singer said. “Jesus is the source of healing. We can’t go to our spouses to heal us; God has to do that first. Then, we are able to walk in love and forgiveness alongside one another.”
