Jeremy Lin Latest News: Lin Returns Impressively in Loss Against Harden and the Rockets
Ever since Jeremy Lin injured his hamstring last November 3, he has missed 17 games. The newly acquired starting point guard of the Brooklyn Nets, through his absence, has shown that he does a lot of good things for the team.
Jeremy Lin returned to play against the Houston Rockets. The Nets lost that game but according to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, the team "got back [Lin's] leadership, creativity, and a sense of calm."

The Nets lost narrowly, only losing by 4 points with a final score of 122-118. Lin said, "I felt like I've got to do a better job of getting a better shot. But I think for me and our whole team, we played aggressive, we played confident, we played to win, and I'm OK with that."
Lin said that one good thing to take away from this loss is the fact that they played hard and with heart. During that game, the Nets were able to show they can match the rockets in terms of energy, and actually making a game out of what should have been a blowout, at least in terms of both teams' current standing.
The Houston Rockets currently have a standing of 18 wins and 7 losses, putting them at th 4th spot on the highly competitive Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets are second to the last in the Conference, with a standing of 6 wins and 17 losses.

Jeremy Lin played limited minutes during the game; understandable since he was coming off a long absence. In just 20 minutes though, Lin actually played well, scoring 10 points, dishing 7 assists and grabbing 3 rebounds.
Jeremy Lin had a run which helped the team get back from behind 15 points to actually leading by two points. Unfortunately, the Rockets were able to hold off the Nets to come away with the victory.
Brook Lopez is all praises when it comes to Lin's performance in this game. He said, "You look at him, he was fantastic. There was no rust, and he was there in crunch time making plays for us time and again. He had a great night."
Lin is currently averaging some of the best numbers of his NBA career: 14.2 points, 6.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. He has also shot better in terms of overall field goal percentage at 45.5%.
