Jeremy Lin News, Update: Lin Sees Long Break Between Games as a 'Turning Point'
With two games under his belt since his return from a hamstring injury, Jeremy Lin is slowly getting his rhythm back. He hasn't played much with his Brooklyn Nets teammates since he was sidelined for much of the season, but he should have a lot of time to gel with them thanks to a long break between games.
"It's really big. We barely get any time to practice, so this is going to be really big for us to get back to our fundamentals, our principles. And I think if we do it right, hopefully it can be somewhat of a turning point in terms of turning things around and getting things headed in the right direction," Lin told the New York Post.
The Nets' next game is at Sacramento on Wednesday, so they should have plenty of time to rest and prepare for that match.

When the Nets signed Lin, they envisioned him forming a formidable backcourt-frontcourt tandem with Brook Lopez. Now that Lin is back, the duo can finally show fans what they can do if they are on the court together.
Lopez almost got traded last week, but Lin said he didn't think the center was going anywhere in spite of the trade rumors. "I didn't think he was going to get moved, so I wasn't too nervous. I'm definitely excited to be back out on the floor with him," Lin said to Newsday.
Lin couldn't have come back at a better time for the Nets. The team's current .155 winning percentage is the ninth worst in league history and they are currently on a 16-game losing streak. With Lin back in the lineup, the Nets should have more chances to win games.
Lin will be playing with a minutes restriction while he gets up to speed, but it's good to see him back on the court.
