Jessa Duggar Seewald slams brother Josh, source says Anna's family are wishing for Josh 'to just disappear'

For the first time after Josh and the entire Duggar clan have been under scrutiny for the latter's scandals, Jessa Duggar Seewald has publicly turned her back on her brother.

On Tuesday, Seewald posted her father-in-law Michael Seewald's message against Josh on Facebook. In the elder Seewald's post, he called Jessa's brother a "hypocritical Christian," following the Ashley Madison hack that revealed Josh being an account holder in the cheating website.

Aside from Jessa's re-post, her husband Ben Seewald also tweeted a link to his father's original blog post.

Just as if it weren't enough, Jessa and Ben both shared a link to a sermon that tackles prevention of adultery a day earlier. The sermon looks into topics such as learning how to reject thousands of temptations.

Although it is a notable move for Jessa, who has firmly stood with her brother and his supposed change of heart, even stating earlier in June that she had forgiven her brother for molesting her and sister Jill when they were young, some skeptics deem that she slammed Josh this time due to public pressure.

Other Duggar family members, on the other hand, have remained firm on their initial statements that they are leaving the situation in God's hands.

Josh's parents Jim Bob and Michelle have previously stated that they are "deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions" but are still looking forward for the 27-year-old's "complete repentance and sincere change."

Meanwhile, a source very close to Josh's wife, Anna, says the broken wife's family is "very angry." The source tells People that "They [the family] want her and the kids to get away from him," adding that they "would really like him to just disappear."

Anna's parents may seem to be with Josh in his fall, but some of his family, aside from Jessa, have started to lose trust in him.

Amy Duggar, Josh's cousin, says she agrees "100 percent" with Mr. Seewald's blog post, adding that the family is in the state of shock and "furious" over the most recent scandal Josh involved himself in.
