Jessa Duggar's father-in-law slams Josh Duggar, fans are boycotting Southern women's booking

The Duggars have just started to see a ray of hope when Josh Duggar, 27, entered rehab last week, and in the wake of his supposed "recovery," Michael Seewald, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald's father-in-law, sparked another fire in a recent post.

While Jessa came out earlier in June with sister Jill regarding their brother Josh's molestation confession, stating they were his victims too but they support his willingness for a change of heart, her father-in-law is unhappy.

According to The Cosmopolitan, the elder Seewald has gotten "very real" about the situation, first stating how he empathizes with Josh's parents, wife, and children, and later slammed the man he says "blasphemed the name of God."

The post, titled "Grief, Shame, and Taking the Lord's Name in Vain," also pointed out the most recent scandal that involved Josh, after his name was listed as one of the more than 30 million people with accounts on AshleyMadison.com.

Seewald said, "While proudly saying things like, 'Our family is like the epitome of conservative values,' he was looking at porn and soliciting affairs."

Adding to the damage is rage among social media users upon learning that Jessa and her husband, Ben, will make an appearance and will be the guest of honor during the annual Southern Women's Show this October.

Numerous outlets say a number of the event's Facebook fans question why Duggar was chosen to speak.

One fan particularly questioned why the 22-year-old is traveling for speaking events late in her pregnancy, why Ben doesn't have a job, and if the couple are planning to use "blanket training" on their child.

Another fan criticized the event organizers, saying they were wrong for choosing to include an "uneducated, judgmental, and arrogant Duggar."

Many other Facebook users stated they were boycotting the event and future events that the organization will host due to controversial couple's appearance in the Birmingham, Alabama affair.
